Wired Like Us — a book about ADHD & marriage

You love each other. So why does it feel so hard?

It wasn't supposed to be this hard.

You're not imagining it, and it's not just you. When one of you is wired differently, love alone stops keeping you in sync — and the distance creeps in so slowly you barely notice it happening.

01 — Sound familiar?

Same argument. Different day.

Lived two of these this week? Keep reading.

7:40 AM
"I told you about this on Sunday."
"…You did?"
6:15 PM
The dishwasher, half loaded. Again. It was never about the dishes. It's about always being the one who notices.
9:30 PM
"You never listen."
"I was listening. I just lost it halfway through."
Saturday
One of you planned the whole weekend. The other one found out at breakfast.
10:47 PM
Lying next to each other. Both awake. Both sure the other one has stopped trying.
Every day
The "I'm fine" that isn't. The apology that sounds like an excuse. The quiet that's louder than the fight.

None of this means you're failing. It means two differently wired people are sharing one life without a translation. And every week it runs on autopilot, the distance gets a little wider.

Chaos Meets Calendar

An ADHD love story and survival guide.

This isn't a book about fixing your partner. It's the manual neither of you got. It goes behind closed doors — the miscommunication, the missed responsibilities, the emotional distance — and into the path back to each other. Written for both sides of an ADHD marriage. Honest. Zero judgment.

05 — Who it's for

Either side of the table.

This is for you if
You're married or partnered, and one or both of you has ADHD.
You're the partner without ADHD — exhausted, not heartless.
You're the partner with ADHD — tired of being "the problem."
You want to understand each other, not win the argument.
You still love each other. You're just tired of missing each other.
This isn't for you if
You want a planner, a time-management system or productivity hacks.
You're looking for a diagnosis or medical treatment.
You need it to replace therapy or couples counseling. It won't.

Read it alone or together. It's written for either side.

07 — Questions

Before you ask.

Who wrote it?

I'm Kevin Yen, the founder of Wired Like Us. I wrote Chaos Meets Calendar because I experienced firsthand how ADHD can turn the very differences that brought two people together into the things that nearly tear them apart.

It's the book I wish we'd had when my wife and I were struggling to understand each other, before we realized that love wasn't the problem. We were just wired differently.

Is this a time-management book?

No. Despite the title, it's about marriage — how ADHD shapes communication, intimacy and shared life between two people. No planners, no productivity systems.

Do we both have to read it?

No. It's written to help either partner — or both — understand what ADHD actually looks like inside a relationship.

What if my partner won't read it?

Read it yourself first. Understanding has to start with someone — and it's written so either partner can pick it up alone.

Is it a physical book?

No. It's a PDF digital download. Nothing ships.

How do I get my book?

Right after checkout you'll get an email with your download link. It opens on any phone, tablet or computer.

What if it's not for us?

Digital downloads are final sale. If your file won't open or you got the wrong book, email us, and we'll make it right. Full details in our refund policy.

You're still on the same team.

Same team. Different systems. Learning to sync. Tonight doesn't have to end like last night.
