Wired Like Us started with one simple realization:
I wasn't the only one.
I spent most of my life navigating ADHD without understanding why my brain worked the way it did.
I knew I was different.
I had the ideas, creativity, and energy, but I also struggled with the things people couldn't see.
The missed details.
The unfinished projects.
The constant feeling of trying harder but still falling behind.
Then I became a father to two boys with ADHD.
Watching them experience many of the same struggles I had carried my entire life changed everything.
And in the middle of our organized chaos was my wife.
She doesn't have ADHD, but she's an ADHD Life Coach.
Our home became a daily reminder that different brains experience the same world in completely different ways.
Through my journey as someone with ADHD, a father, a husband, and a professional, I realized something:
There had to be other people out there feeling the same way.
Other adults.
Other parents.
Other families.
People wondering if they were the only ones.
That's why I created Wired Like Us.
Not just to explain ADHD, but to create a place where people could recognize themselves and know they aren't alone.
As a graphic designer, I wanted to translate what ADHD feels like into something people could see.
Every design is a way of turning invisible experiences into something real.
Because sometimes the best way to understand a different brain...
is to see the world through its perspective.
We're not broken. We're just wired differently.
